Three words: hold the beach. How and why are so many pizza shops closed at 10pm? It baffles my mind whenever I'm in the Delco area.
Imperial has been holding it down for years. Their delivery range is insane, they'll deliver to 30 mins from their store. The pizza might take up to an hour for delivery, and might be cold when you get it, but that's nothing a quick 10.mins in the oven won't solve.
Cheap, good pizza delivered right to your door. What's not to love? -

I'll keep this simple: If you're not Local, AND/OR you're some kind of alien, urbanite, snowflake ... just go away. Get your stupid, 30$, Farmer's Market, deep-dish with tapioca-starch, quinoa crust, and fair-trade, non GMO pepperoni, and go home.
This is a classic, no-nonsense, 20th century Americana Pizza Joint. The sausage is shredded. The pepperoni is full of delicious nitrates. Crust is thin, air tossed, beautifully sour and Crispy, cooked in an antique inferno oven that would scorch it unless protected by a fine layer of corn meal which also aerates it to crunchy perfection.
This blazing hot, coal-fire temp also allows for 10 minute pick-up. You want delivery? Ok. But understand they are servicing THREE TIMES the average area any other pizza place, until 2AM. They usually get there within 1hour and 20 minutes. Get over it.
Again. this is old school, NJ,NY, Philly style pie, and for incredible price.
Cheesteaks: Delco fine-chopped style. American or Provolone only. The peppers are not Anaheim nor poblano, nor roasted nor marinated. They are pickled, neon, and come from a huge jar with some Italian name. Cherry peppers are whole and HOT.
There's no deep fryer for 17 different flavors of hot wings, no mozzarella sticks, no dumb garden salads, No milkshakes, curly fries, etc... it's Pizza. Cheesteaks. Meatball Grinder. Period.
Get yourself and Ulcer with anchovies, a double cheese sausage pie, ana a Cheesteak X-cheese fried onio, and thank god that dingy little stucco buildings like this still house American nostalgia that can feed a family of four for under $20 bucks. -

It's probably been since 1982 that I last had Imperial when I lived on Tremont Drive. I was back in the old neighborhood tonight and had a touch of nostalgia hit along with a pizza craving--Imperial!!! EVERYTHING is the same, and that is a great thing! A large cheese pizza for $6.95??? Can't get that around me now in West Chester! And it tastes good, with great sauce, crisp crust, and of course the signature coarse cornmeal coating on the bottom! Thanks for bringing me back to 12 years old!

If you plan on ordering Imperial Pizza in Secane, plan on waiting over two hours and if if you call to ask where your order is you get,
" your a million miles away and we are very busy"
Never again.
Incredibly rude staff, no apology and pizza is cold
Terrible!!!!!!!!
